Artist's Comments

Alice stared precariously at the ensanguined woman infront of her, she wondered if she should turn back or face what lay ahead.

'Who are you?' She asked with uncertaincy.
'I am the Mad Hatter' the frightening woman replied, 'would you like to join my tea party?'
Alice hesitated before saying 'I don't know if i've the time today Mad Hatter'
She peered over at the chaos of the dinner table, cups and saucers, plates and knives strewn everywhere. Severed heads perched on silver platters, gagged with rose red apples.
The Mad hatter looked dissapointed, she shuffled from foot to foot.
'Well, maybe for one cup' Alice added ' Just for the road'.

...

Alice awoke with a pain in her neck, she couldn't talk, there was something in her mouth.
She looked wide-eyed at the heads around the table, all with the same fear in their beady eyes.

The Mad Hatter smiled at Alice, it made her skin crawl.

'More Tea?' She said...

Damn! I love her uniform in this one, and her sort of contorted posture as if she really is mad (Wide eyes works with this). I like how you also incorporated the actual image with the border and the teacups.

The tea is well done too!
